I spent a very cozy day at this tree farm today with family and friends. For the first time I saw how they collect and prepare the maple syrup. It is pretty similar to the process of collecting date juice. Nonetheless it was still interesting to experience. The weather was absolutely gorgeous today. We walked through the trails, kids were running or climbing trees, adults were chit chatting around the campfire. The smokey smell of firewood, and delicious pancakes with fresh beautiful maple syrup! A perfect sunny Saturday through and through. Sometimes we derive pure joy from simple moments, don’t we?
